In mythology, the Pleiades are the Seven Sisters, daughters of Atlas who had the misfortune of meeting Orion, the Hunter who, along with his dog chased the sisters for five years.
In our Nautibags version, Orion is not a Hunter but a Sailor, rowing his boat in the open seas, gazing and peacefully musing on the Seven Sisters over head.
